Batu Caves, 272 Steps of divine


Located in Gombak district, 13 kilometres (8 mi) north of Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Batu Caves serve not only as a tourist attraction but is considered a Hindu shrines as well which attracts thousands of worshippers and tourists, especially during the annual Hindu festival, Thaipusam. One of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, dedicated to Lord Murugan, Batu Caves has three main caves featuring temples and Hindu shrines.
